1. Wash and remove stems from the mushrooms.
2. If you don’t have butter milk, make it: combine milk and lemon juice and whisk. Then, let sit for 2-3 minutes.
3. Make wet batter: combine the 2tbs flour with your buttermilk and stir until smooth.
4. Make dry batter: combine the ¼ cup flour with spices and breadcrumbs.
5. First, dip mushroom in wet batter and shake of excess. Then, dip mushroom in dry batter.
6. Repeat one by one with each mushroom.
7. Spray cooking spray on your air fryer racks & air fry mushrooms at 390F for 25 minutes.
